Agent Zero

Many things in life start out as one thing and morph into another. Agent Zero is no different. Coming from various influences and genres like rock, reggae, progressive metal and punk has allowed them to develop a truly powerful professional rock act that invokes various emotions and energies to exude from their audiences. With fusion and a passion for music, reminiscent of major musical acts of the past, talented veteran performers from many groups have come together to create an exciting brew to be consumed that is Agent Zero. Band members, Jason Williams, Jon Cabrera, Jaysen Curran, Jeff Goins, and Bunje have dominated their local music scene for the last 12 years. This is evident not only of their ever-growing, rabid fan base, but also of them capturing attention and support from commercial and college radio stations.

Agent Zero has won several awards, including the OTW “Best of Rockford” awards (1999, 2001, and 2003), “Rockford Area Music Industry” awards for “best punk/ska” (1998), and “Best hard rock/Metal” (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005). They were inducted into the RAMI “Hall of Fame” in April of 2006.

The band’s hard work has come to fruition, as they secured a sponsorship with Jagermeister. AZ has also won the “Battle of the Bands” on ernieball.com. This allowed them to secure a slot on the 2002 “Vans Warped Tour.” Playing more than 500 shows has given Agent Zero the chance to share the stage with many national acts including Staind, Slayer, Damage Plan, Hinder, Trapt, Rev Theory, Theory of a Deadman, Mastadon, Killswitch Engage, Powerman 5000, RED, Travis Meeks, Skindred, Hurt, Magna Fi, Cold, Slightly Stoopid, Modern Day Zero, Flaw, Smile Empty Soul, RA, Stereomud, Union Underground, Primer 55, Ratt, Soil, The Heavils, Hedder, L.A. Guns, Jackyl, and The Genetorturers.

In 2003, Agent Zero signed a recording contract with Borgata Records, and followed up with a college charting campaign to promote their debut release.
